Additional Activities may include:
- Using the Right to Education Lessons from the School Works! pack. This resource pack develops the three interrelated themes of Child Labour, The Right to Education and FAIRTRADE set in the context of Nicaragua. It was sent to all primary schools last year. A pdf version is available on www.intolearning.ie
- Teaching general lessons on rights as per the Convention of the Rights of the Child as lain out by the LIFT Off Initiative. See http://www.liftoffschools.com/Teachers/Downloads.aspx .
- Asking children in your class who are from a different cultural background and who went to school in their country of origin or another country to describe their experience. Alternatively asking their parents to talk about school in their native country.
