Minister of State for Overseas Development, Peter Power TD, launched the 2010 Global Action Week in the AV Room of Leinster House on Tuesday 20th April. Speaking at the launch the Minister highlighted that education funding woudl be maintained at its current level in the overall Irish Aid budget. Chairperson on the ICGCE, Moira Leydon, also speaking at the launch welcomed this news.
